Hi Brady,
In case you have not read my latest post to the rosacea-support list, I wanted to reiterate to you the success I am having by taking niacinamide (vitamin b-3). I know you often try new cures for rosacea and I have found that this has made my papules go away completely while diminishing the redness. On top of this I have also increased my acidophilus as I told you before. If you try the niacinamide you will get results pretty quickly, a week at the longest.
But of course I am always watching those sugar and carbs :-)

Brady,
if you can help others, why charge a fee for your recipe?
it would be a beautiful thing

First off, it is a diet, not a recipe. If you want a free diet for rosacea, there is one at this url:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-support/files/My%20Diet.html
part 2:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-support/files/My%20Diet-Part%202.html
If you would like to understand why I charge for my diet, why does Dr. Nase charge for his book, why do dermatologists charge for their services and why is capitalism allowed to work in this country? David Pasco discussed why I charge for my diet in his review of the Rosacea Diet and you can read that review at this url:
http://rosacea.ii.net/reviews.html
I have discussed this before in the comments posted on my site for the past three years and also you can read my post about profit or non-profit at this url:
http://rosaceadiet.com/html/profit.html
If after reading all the above you have a question I will try to help you.

Subject: rosacea food triggers
Brady,
I have been asking for a list of rosacea food triggers, and nobody seems to have it or have saved links I myself posted a long time ago. I lost them as well.
Could you please share the information if you have it. We need to refresh the memory once in a while. I had brussels sprouts recently and am almost sure this is a trigger. At least it appears to be for me because I neglected the general wairning.
In advance thank you. Many new rosacea sufferes will benefit from this information.
Allison
Brady Barrows responded:
Allison,
I have never had a trigger with brussel sprouts. My Rosacea Diet allows brussel sprouts. The standard 'official' trigger list can be found at the NRS site at this url:
http://rosacea.org/copintro.html#Identifying
However, my Rosacea Diet allows many of the 'tripwires' that the NRS says
'may cause a rosacea sufferer to experience a flare-up.'

A BIG THANK YOU MY FRIEND. I'll keep in touch with you and let know how I'm doing. I bought your book last year and I started following your directions about two weeks ago. What type of sweetner do you use if you have an urge? Sincerely, Craig PS I'm going to a corneal doctor on Monday.
Brady Barrows responded:
Craig,
I try to stay away from sweetners. I have tried Stevia which seems to be the most natural one if you desire
one.
Did the Rosacea Diet help?
I don't see your email as a member of the group, so I am sending you an invitation to join the Rosacea Diet Users Support Group, in case you desire to join.

Hi,
I had an outbreak of rosacea 3 weeks ago.I was under a lot of stress and so my cheeks and forehead were quite red and covered with postules. This situation stressed me out even more. My husband and I are both using alternative therapies when it concerns our health.
We are now eating 85% raw foods and 15% cooked. Our diet consists of organic fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts & seeds and some low cooked grains. Also we include a flax oil combination and fresh juices.
I came across this information by the late DR. Christopher it's his BF&C tea that I used on my face nightly. I slept with these compresses and I also drank some of the tea 3 X day.
After only 4 days all the postules were gone. I continued to use this formula for an additional 2 weeks. My face looks great now.
I am 60 years young and do not believe in taking any kind of drugs. Drugs never cure, they only mask the symptoms and in the long run will only make things worse. Our creator designed our body to heal itself.
Here you will find some very interesting information on natural cures. Hope this helps some of readers.

Your diet is radically different from the Rosacea Diet and I marvel that it works, so I think there really must be something to the tea compresses and drinking it.
thanks for the tip.....
